HARTMAN BALDWIN design/build

The Chabres wanted to increase their kitchen space, connect the living/family room with the kitchen and take advantage of the fabulous view they have of the foothills all while keeping the modern design of their existing architecture. We enlarged the kitchen, angled the walls towards the foothills, and added as much natural light as possible by way of a grand skylight.

We are starting a new year with a beautiful new kitchen, thanks to all your hard work. Last year was a special one in our lives.  We were privileged to watch our team from Hartman Baldwin in action every day.  We saw your attention to detail, pride in work, respect for others, loyalty, truthfulness, and an unswerving commitment to perfection as they carried through a long and complicated project.

On a personal level, we got to know you well, and we learned that you are an unusually bright, creative, and caring group of people.  You were never too busy or tired to take time to explain to us what we didn't understand, or to listen to our ideas.  We always felt that you cared about our needs and comfort.  There were so many extra little things you did to help us get through the construction that it would be hard to enumerate all of them.  Then, just as the job was finishing up, we were threatened by the Williams fire.

You arrived in full force at the end of a long day's work to move all our valuables out.  Your thoughtfulness was just overwhelming.  We will always think of you as friends of the highest order. We hope that our association will continue far into the future, and we want you to know that we appreciate every detail of the beautiful space you created for us.

Sincerely,

A. and F. Chabre
