Lattimer-Starratt Residence: An existing, badly remodeled kitchen, cramped play area, and adjoining laundry room with the only exit to the back yard all had to go. Maggie needed lots of space for entertaining, lounging and cooking. A new patio with easy access from the kitchen was also a requirement. The existing, very formal, two story Spanish home needed a more informal space that would invite casual, indoor/outdoor living that would still retain the elegance and architectural detailing of the existing home. |
