Carr-Handley Residence: Linda and Tom wanted to add space to their home as well as create a more inviting exterior. To restore a sense of balance to the massing (arrangement) of the home, a new master bedroom suite was strategically placed on the second floor, over the garage. A graceful, curving walkway now winds through the garden, leading to the front porch. New railings, columns, and Craftsman-style corbels also create a sense of privacy, making the front porch a cozy outdoor retreat.

Inside, a completely redesigned Arts and Crafts style kitchen is a bright, functional work space. A new Craftsman-style staircase with rich wood detailing and a stepped ceiling in the new master bedroom add the final elegant touches to the home.
