Berlyn Residence
Clean and Contemporary Scandinavian Kitchen Interior Design
The redesign of this space is rooted in simplicity and functionality, pulling inspiration from Scandinavian design. The home’s existing layout divided its central spaces into a small kitchen, dining room, and living room. Removing the dividing walls allowed for a new, larger kitchen and a more welcoming and luxurious central living space. The perimeter cabinets are painted a calming sage green, and the central island spotlights its light maple wood grain with a clear finish. White quartz countertops and minimalist satin nickel hardware pair beautifully with the clean, flat-panel doors—also known as slab cabinetry. The island design steps down to table-height to provide a comfortable yet casual dining experience. Bosch appliances, sculptural light pendants, and thoughtful furnishings round out the Nordic look.
