The previous kitchen had a bulky peninsula that isolated the room and did not allow for a seamless connection to the adjacent areas. The newly designed kitchen has a more open and functional layout while maintaining the architectural style of the home. Another major aspect of this remodel included an enclosure of the existing patio into a new great room additions and second-story deck. The new deck above the great room has a custom hip-ridge skylight with tempered glass. The new skylight harmonizes with the coffered ceiling in the great room. A new gas fireplace with stone surround ties in beautifully with the new flooring.
