Major Kitchen Remodel of Hollywoodland Spanish Style Home

Our clients wanted a fresh new look in their Hollywoodland kitchen, hallway, and laundry. This Spanish-style gem was originally built in 1926 and its kitchen area needed an injection of design and color to better align with its architectural roots and our client’s personal style. As you enter the space, you are greeted by an eye-catching hand-made terracotta tile laid in an intricate star and cross pattern with a bold orange and black color that playfully complements the space’s light stone and rich oak wood. The pantry and island were designed to look like custom furniture pieces with an Andalusian-inspired motif, pairing well with the decorative glazed ceramic tile backsplash above the range. The perimeter cabinetry, countertops, and wall tiles are in a soft white which provides a clean and airy feel to the surrounding space.
